We've had a cold winter with plenty of storms. Then yesterday, the sun came out and the temperature headed into the 60's and today, at lunchtime, it's in the mid-50's. I have the doors and windows open to let the wonderful fresh air in and my mind is starting to plot about what needs done outside. Spring fever has arrived!

Having a greenhouse has changed the emphasis on spring for me. We had sunshine for a week in Janaury with very cold temperatures but it got up to 70 in the greenhouse. Spring fever popped up for just a moment. But my internal clock has learned that just because I can enter the greenhouse and get my spring fix, spring isn't here yet. And, I know that today is just a gift to remind me that spring will be here soon. Tomorrow the rain returns and the forecast shows rain for days to come. So, for just a moment, I get to relish the warm sunshine, the birds singing and the thought of flowers poking their heads up to say hello.
